From Monday, 11th January all Stagecoach Cumbria and North Lancashire services in the Lancaster District, except 555 Lancaster - Keswick will move to a "School Holiday" or "University Holiday" timetable.
The 555 will continue to operate a normal service except for the late Friday and Saturday evening journeys between Kendal and Grasmere, which will not run.
The following school services will be suspended:

- School services 500/501/502/504/935 will be combined to create a temporary 500X service (Download the timetable here).
On all other Stagecoach services journeys which are shown as running "school days only" will not operate.
On services 1/1A Heysham - Lancaster University and 4 Railway Station - Lancaster University a "university holidays" timetable will operate. Service 1 will operate between Heysham and Lancaster Bus Station only and the evening and Sunday journeys on service 1A between the Bus Station and the University will be suspended. Alternative journeys to the University will continue to be provided by services 1A (daytime), 41, 42 and 100.
The holiday timetables are expected to continue until at least the February half-term, but the company and Lancashire County Council are reviewing the situation weekly and more changes can be expected.
