When the BUG found out that National Express was unexpectedly serving Lancaster again (read about it here) we commented that the unusual timetable, (which didn't offer much in the way of useful connections at either end whilst the only place it was possible to visit for a day was Tebay services on the M6) was unlikely to attract much traffic.
It seems that we were right - as the service has now disappeared from the company's website and no longer operates.
It seems that our nearest coach stops are at Blackpool and Preston
